During the training course in Pernik, she explored various non-formal educational methods and practical tools connected to emotional resilience, stress management, mindfulness, and self-awareness.

For Valeria, one of the most meaningful aspects of the project was the supportive and open atmosphere created among participants from different countries. Through group discussions, reflective exercises, and intercultural activities, she felt encouraged to openly share experiences, emotions, and personal perspectives while also listening to the realities and challenges faced by others. The project helped her realize how important it is to create emotionally safe spaces where young people feel heard, respected, and supported.

She particularly appreciated activities connected to emotional literacy and self-reflection, which helped her become more aware of her own emotional needs and stress patterns. According to Valeria, the project not only strengthened her practical competences as a youth worker, but also contributed significantly to her personal growth, empathy, and self-confidence. Inspired by the experience, she plans to apply mindfulness and emotional awareness activities in her future work with young people and continue promoting conversations around mental well-being within her local community.

Valeria strongly believes that Erasmus+ projects are valuable opportunities for young people to learn, grow, and connect with others from different cultures. She described the experience as transformative and highly recommended participating in similar projects because of their positive impact on both personal and professional development.

Funded by the European Union.
