During the training course in Pernik, he explored important topics related to stress, emotional well-being, mindfulness, and mental health challenges affecting young people today.

For Daniel, one of the most impactful parts of the experience was the opportunity to step outside his comfort zone and engage in open and honest conversations about emotions, self-care, and personal struggles. Through activities such as breathing exercises, group reflections, creative workshops, and mindfulness sessions, he gained a deeper understanding of the importance of emotional awareness and balance in everyday life. The project also helped him realize how powerful non-formal education can be in creating safe spaces for connection, dialogue, and emotional expression.

Daniel especially valued the creative and interactive activities implemented during the project, as they demonstrated alternative ways young people can express feelings and process emotions beyond traditional discussions. He explained that these methods can be extremely useful when working with young people who may find it difficult to communicate emotions verbally. Inspired by the project, Daniel plans to continue using mindfulness and creative reflection activities in his future youth work practice to help young people better manage stress and emotional challenges.

According to Daniel, Erasmus+ projects are unique opportunities that combine learning, friendship, cultural exchange, and personal growth. He believes such experiences help young people become more confident, emotionally aware, and socially engaged while also building important communication and teamwork skills that remain valuable long after the project ends.

Funded by the European Union.
