We are crazy Itlaians/most of us first of all Napolitans/ and we want to share our experience from project Sport against violence and cyber bullying in Bulgaria. First of all thanks to our organization Active youth for Europe that gave us this amazing opportunity as most of us did not really know anything about Erasmus plus before. It was so great to get engaged in such activities-we could not believe so many different people can become like family to you only in a week! Its amazing to see that young people are so similar everywhere-we face same issues and difficulties, we have similar hopes and dreams! This project was really a life changing experience -at the exchange 4 of us really got passionate about tennis and signed up for tennis lessons now!
Along with our organization Active Youth for Europe we organized some workshops and sport games for other young people from the local community-from Santa Maria la Carita and Castellamare di Stabia. One of the events we organized on 25th November in Santa Maria la Carita was a discussion on Hate speech and human rights with youth leaders and activists from Forum di Giovanni-we discussed freedom of expression and hate speech, how to report hate speech, what are law existing for hate speech. We also presented them our project, showed them photos and videos from the project. The other event we organized was in Castellamare di Stabia -we had human library style workshop outdoors, some energizers and fun ice breaker games and some national sport games we played at the exchange and learnt from other countries. We wanted to inspire and empower other peers to take part in Erasmus projects, travel, learn, develop themselves and meet amazing people from other countries.
