1. What motivated you to join this youth exchange “Mission Youth Mental Health”?
I joined this project because the topic of mental health truly resonated with me. At that time, I was going through a difficult period in my life, and I felt that this project could help me understand myself better. I wanted to learn new things and share experiences with others in a supportive environment. Meeting people from different countries was also a strong motivation for me, as I believed that exchanging perspectives could be very enriching. I felt that this project could be a safe space where I could speak openly, learn, and feel understood. Above all, I wanted to grow as a person and take better care of myself.
2. What was the most interesting thing you learned during the project? How will you use it?
The most interesting thing I learned was how important it is to appreciate myself more. I discovered new ways to express my feelings through art, which was completely new for me. Before the project, it was very difficult for me to show my emotions. I also learned how to listen more carefully and understand other people’s feelings. These experiences gave me greater confidence. Back home, I will try to communicate more openly with my friends, and I will continue using art and other creative methods to express my emotions in a healthy way.
3. Which activity or session did you enjoy the most, and why?
The activity I enjoyed the most was the PERMA session. It was a very emotional experience for me. I cried a lot, but it helped me release many feelings that I had been holding inside. Through this activity, I understood some of my personal challenges much better. What made it especially meaningful was the support I received from the group. I no longer felt alone. Even though it was difficult, the experience was deeply healing.
4. How will you use the knowledge and skills from this project in your work back home?
I will use what I learned to communicate more openly and effectively with others. I want to listen with more patience and understanding. The project also taught me how important teamwork and emotional support are. I now feel more open, empathetic, and aware of my own emotions. I will try not to keep everything inside, but instead express how I feel in a healthy way. These skills will help me in my relationships with friends and family, as well as in future projects.
5. If you could describe this experience in three words, what would they be?
