Infographics from Youth exchange “Mission Youth Mental Health”

The following infographics present a snapshot of the mental health situation among young people across several European countries, including Türkiye, Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Romania, and Serbia. Together, they highlight common challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress related to education and employment, limited access to mental health services, and the persistent stigma surrounding seeking help.

Despite differences in national contexts, the data reveals shared patterns: many young people struggle in silence, professional support is often difficult to access—especially outside major cities—and social stigma remains a significant barrier. The visuals also address widespread myths about mental health, emphasizing that mental well-being concerns people of all ages and that seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Alongside challenges, the infographics point toward solutions: open conversations, community and peer support, early intervention, and simple self-care practices that can help young people manage stress in everyday life. They also underline the importance of knowing how to support friends who may be struggling and where to seek reliable help.

These infographics aim to raise awareness, break stigma, and encourage empathy, dialogue, and proactive care for mental health—because mental health is health, and no one should face these challenges alone
