As part of the dissemination activities of the 4 NEET Training Course, the Spanish team organised a dissemination session at the University of Málaga, focusing on raising awareness about NEET youth (Not in Education, Employment or Training).
During the session, the participants shared insights from the training course, combining personal reflections, real-life examples and clear visuals to present the challenges faced by young people who are disconnected from education, employment or training. The presentation highlighted the importance of understanding the underlying reasons behind NEET situations and the need for supportive, empathetic approaches when working with young people.
The session encouraged open dialogue, with university participants showing strong interest in the topic and actively engaging through questions and discussion. This exchange created a meaningful space to reflect on how academic institutions, youth workers and future professionals can contribute to supporting NEET youth in different contexts.
By implementing this dissemination activity at the University of Málaga, the Spanish team contributed to increasing awareness, sharing project outcomes and strengthening the transferability of the 4 NEET project results within an academic environment.
