On June 2nd, 2023, Cristina from the Romanian team had the privilege of leading a workshop for POV21, a student organization based in Romania. POV21 is a dynamic youth portal that focuses on educating high school and college students about journalism, marketing, and digital innovation. The workshop was specifically designed for new volunteers who had limited experience in graphic design, aiming to provide them with a solid foundation in this field.
Throughout the presentation, she covered four key sections to ensure a comprehensive understanding of graphic design:
- Exploring the fundamental principles that underpin effective graphic design.
- Introducing essential graphic design tools for NGOs, with a specific focus on Figma and Canva.
- Sharing best practices for content management, including tips on creating visually appealing and engaging designs.
- Raising awareness about Erasmus+ and the diverse range of opportunities associated with this program.
By delving into these topics, the workshop equipped participants with practical knowledge and skills to enhance their graphic design capabilities within the context of POV21 and beyond.
