We are incredibly proud and delighted to spotlight our Italian participants who successfully executed a dissemination activity at Santa Maria la Carità Local School back in June 2023. As part of the ‘Active Citizens 4 European Solidarity’ project, our young ambassadors delved into the very heart of what European solidarity signifies, taking their message to the next generation.
Highlights:
- Interactive Workshops: Through hands-on activities, students gained insights into the history, values, and vision of the European Union. Using storytelling, visuals, and group discussions, our participants painted a vivid picture of Europe’s interconnected fabric.
- European Solidarity in Action: Real-life examples of European unity, drawn from recent events, were showcased, allowing students to relate to the concept of European solidarity on a more personal level.
- Voices of the Youth: Our Italian representatives shared their experiences from the project, emphasizing the transformative power of understanding and belonging. These first-hand accounts resonated deeply with the students, inspiring many to contemplate their own European journey.
Feedback from the school: Teachers and administrators lauded the effectiveness of the activity, with several commenting on the palpable excitement and engagement of the students. The school expressed keen interest in hosting similar events in the future, citing the immense value in strengthening the bridge between European concepts and local communities.
