Dissemination activity of Italian team under project “4NEET”

As part of the dissemination activities of the 4 NEET Training Course, the Italian team organised an online meeting with youth workers, focused on sharing the project’s objectives, methodology and key outcomes.

During the meeting, participants were introduced to the concept of NEET youth (Not in Education, Employment or Training) and the challenges they face across different European contexts. The Italian team presented the structure of the training course, the non-formal education methods used, and the learning experiences developed during the mobility, with a strong emphasis on empathy, inclusion and perspective-taking when working with NEET young people.

Special attention was given to the practical results of the project, including tested activities, tools for youth work, and approaches that can be adapted and applied in local contexts. The discussion created space for exchange between youth workers, allowing them to reflect on similarities and differences in working with NEET youth and to explore how the project’s outcomes could support their own professional practice.

The online format ensured accessibility and broader outreach, contributing to the project’s goal of increasing awareness and strengthening the capacity of youth workers to support NEET youth more effectively.

This dissemination activity represents an important step in ensuring the sustainability and transferability of the 4 NEET project results, reinforcing the role of youth workers and organisations in supporting young people at risk of social exclusion.
