Project ”4 NEET” – Empowering Young People Through Non-Formal Learning

The 4 NEET Training Course is an Erasmus+-funded international activity designed to support young people who are Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET). The project aims to reduce the risk of long-term unemployment and social exclusion by providing practical learning experiences, confidence-building activities and tools for personal development.

The training took place in Bansko, Bulgaria, and brought together 23 participants and 2 trainers in an international learning environment. Using non-formal education methods, the programme encouraged active participation, open dialogue and peer learning through interactive and perspective-taking activities.

Participants explored NEET realities, soft skills, teamwork and resilience through experiential activities such as games, creative workshops, design thinking sessions and intercultural discussions. The programme supported reflection on personal challenges, cultural influences and future pathways, while also strengthening cooperation and communication skills.

The training concluded with the development of personal action paths and the recognition of learning outcomes through Youthpass certificates.

Implemented within the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, the 4 NEET Training Course demonstrates how international cooperation and non-formal education can empower young people and support their reintegration into education, employment and active social life.
