Dear fellow Europeans,
We –an international team of young people from UK, Bulgaria, Italy and Spain who lived, smiled and shared an amazing week together in Bulgaria thank to Erasmus+ program are here to tell you something:
-We young people have the power to change
-We young people are part of the decisions
-WE young people are all HUMANS no matter what and we should fight for equality and social injuctice!
Youth against extremism and radicalization was a youth exchange that gathered young people from 4 countries to talk about reasons why young people today are dragged into extremist movements and get radicalized, to understand what is hate speech and how is it used as a tool from some of those movements and how to prevent youth radicalization. The project was a learning platform for all of us- coming from various backgroundds and we faced our stereotypes..but then we broke them!
We have learned about hate speech and freedom of speech, human rights, social media and its role in radicalization, fake news but most of all we learned the importance of being active and always to take a step up for other young people.
Youth against extremism and radicalization was a youth exchange program created from young people for young people with the main idea to engage young people in discovering about the phenomena of youth radicalization and most of all to encourage us all to act upon preventing this and spreading awareness on the topic among other youth.
As a result of the amazing, fruitful and full of learning week we all spent in Bulgaria we have decided to create some content and activities, such as videos and a Toolkit with some useful information on what Youth radicalization is and how we young people can be active part in preventing and combating.
Here you can explore the Toolkit that hopefully will be an inspiration for YOU to be part of breaking stereotypes, creating intercultural dialogue and contributing to preventing youth radicalizations!

The project was financed by Erasmus+ program-amazing program launched by the Europea Commission with the main aim to bring European together, foster intercultural dialogue, empower young people and provide them with educational opportunities!
