The Italian Team has just arrived back home after one of the most life changing, amazing, unbelievable weeks in our lives-we went as strangers to Bulgaria in order to find a lifelong family! Volunteering a path to employability was a youth exchange-financed by Erasmus+ program of the European Commission and hey if you think this is just for uni students you are NOT right! Probably most of us when we hear Erasmus we think of the opportunity to study abroad 1 or 2 semesters when you are in university. Well, this is also part of Erasmus+ but it is much much more-it offers countless opportunities for all EU youth to travel, learn, grow, take part in various educational programs and opportunities such as seminars, youth exchanges, training courses, internships, support for MA and PHd and much more! We-a group of crazy Italians went to Bulgaria on a youth exchange where we met a bunch of other amazing young people from Bulgaria, SPAIN and UK. The project gave each one of us something really important-something more than we actually expected! Some of us got their first ever Erasmus experience and it was definitely a one to remember, some got friends for life, some got a peace of essential information in the rights time, some of us got truly inspired to volunteer, someone else-found their true passions. We even discovered some volunteering opportunities in Italy we have never heard before/like Civil service/ thus the project gave a lot of valuable information to use for our future development. So we want to shout out to every young person out there-go go go and find Erasmus+ project as this can change your life!
