Dissemination activity by Slovak team part of TC Youth work 4 Human Rights

On April 13, 2023, Slovak team had an exciting dissemination activity where we presented our unforgettable experience in the “Youth Workers 4 Human Rights” training course. The presentation took place in our classroom, with our classmates and a supportive teacher in attendance. We were delighted that our teacher was eager to provide us with this platform, as she values the significance of non-formal education.

To make our presentation engaging and visual, we prepared a short PowerPoint and a captivating video filled with pictures from our journey. We began by briefly introducing our sending organization and shared insights into the application process. We also painted a vivid picture of the charming location, Bansko town.

The heart of our presentation revolved around detailing our daily experiences during the training course. We passionately described the activities, group works, and sessions organized by our facilitators and trainers. Themes of human rights, minorities, and combating hate speech were central to our discussions. We emphasized how this training course enriched us both personally and professionally.

Since some of our classmates had previous experience with youth exchanges, we engaged in fruitful discussions about the differences between various projects and the uniqueness of our personal journey. As we wrapped up, we warmly welcomed questions from the audience, addressing their interests in the activities, cultural encounters, and practical aspects of the training course.

Overall, it was a rewarding opportunity for us to share our transformative experience and inspire others to participate in similar projects facilitated by the European Union. We are grateful for the support of our teacher and the receptive audience, and we hope our dissemination will encourage more young individuals to embark on life-changing opportunities like ours.
