Additional Dissemination activity of Turkish team part of TC “Youth Workers’ Lab for Mental Well-being”

Another dissemination activity inspired by the training course “Youth Workers’ Lab for Mental Well-being” was organised in Ankara with the participation of university students and young volunteers interested in youth work, psychology, and personal development. The session aimed to transfer the experiences, methods, and learning outcomes gained during the Erasmus+ mobility in Pernik while also raising awareness about the importance of mental well-being among young people.

The presentation began with an overview of the Erasmus+ project, its objectives, and the main topics explored during the training course. Participants were introduced to the role of non-formal education in supporting emotional well-being and building stronger, more resilient youth communities. To create a more engaging atmosphere, photos and short video materials from the mobility were shared, helping attendees better understand the learning process, intercultural exchange, and practical activities implemented during the project.

During the session, participants discussed topics such as stress management, emotional awareness, communication, self-care practices, and the challenges young people face in today’s fast-changing social and digital environment. Several practical exercises connected to mindfulness, reflection, and emotional expression were also introduced, encouraging participants to actively engage with the topic and reflect on their own experiences and well-being.

An important part of the activity focused on intercultural learning and the exchange of perspectives between participants from different educational and social backgrounds. The discussion highlighted how mental health is perceived in different cultures and why creating safe spaces for open dialogue is essential in youth work and education. Participants also explored the opportunities offered through Erasmus+ projects and discussed how international mobility experiences can contribute to personal growth, confidence-building, and professional development.

The dissemination activity concluded with an open discussion and question-and-answer session, during which participants expressed strong interest in future Erasmus+ opportunities and in applying some of the presented methods within their own academic, volunteer, and community initiatives. Overall, the workshop created a positive and interactive learning environment that promoted mental well-being, intercultural understanding, and active youth participation.
